In March 2007 I visited Danilovsky food market (farmer's market) with my client, American photographer - Lynn Freida, where she took some photographs for a special edition of "Departures" magazine (owned by American Express) about Russia. Danilovsky food market is located in the center of Moscow city, pretty close to downtown and considered to be one of most expensive food markets in Moscow.
I had also opportunity to make several interesting shots there on my camera and this picture, where the butchers gave us permission to take several pictures with their implements :-), is one of my favorite from this place. Here I can say, that the atmosphere of this market, characters and faces of the people are very common for many local Russian markets.
