Victory Park
The Memorial of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 stretches over an area of 20 hectares on the highest elevation of the Poklonnaya Gora (Low Bow Hill) in the Victory Park. This architectural ensemble built in 1983-1995 includes a museum, several sculptural monuments, an open-air display and a church.
This photo I took inside "The Hall of Glory" at the Museum of WWII in Victory Park. The "Order of Victory" is located right in the midlle of huge dome inside this Museum, its size in diameter looks about 8 meters.
Order of Victory is the order awarded to Soviet WWII heroes on front. This order has two signes on Russian: SSSR (USSR, top) and Pobeda (Victory, bottom)
Important Event in Russia -May 9th, 2005 - the 60th anniversary of our Victory over Nazi Germany.
