My Services for expats:
 |
Any transportation needs; |
| Household setup; |
| Shopping and Sightseeing; |
| Translation, if needed. |
Moscow is one of the most expensive cities in the world for expats. All services for foreigners here are very overpriced. Many of my clients from all over the world have been amazed that prices could be higher than in New York or London for example.
If you are going to be living in Moscow for a long time, as your personal guide and driver, I can assist you with starting your new lifestyle. As a local Moscow resident, I know and can help you to find everything you need at reasonable prices.
I can help you with household setup here, for example:
identifying necessary stores in the area you live (groceries, dry cleaners, pharmacy, health clubs, post office, banks, bookstores, etc);
purchase of appliances (help reading the package labels, discussion with sales staff, help determining if the current requirements, etc are correct for operating in Russia);
buying internet access and mobile phone cards;
as a general reference for questions about local customs, etc.
I can organize all your transportation needs during the week according to your business and family needs, for example:
business meetings or office for you;
school for your kids;
shopping for your wife;
sightseeing for your family on the weekend.
Besides providing any translation needs anythere, I also have had experience teaching my clients the Russian alphabet (cyrilic) and common Russian words and expressions which will be helpful for you in the future (for example, to read signs in Russian or to buy something in a shop).
Look at responses from my clients, and you will find out more about where I can be of help to you in Moscow.
Details at page Responses or/and you can visit My Dear Clients page.

Hiro and I recently spent three days in Moscow to attend the 2006 Cup of Russia at which a friend of ours participated. From the moment we contacted Arthur via this website, he was completely professional. Our flights arrived and left during the middle of the night, but it was no problem to Arthur to collect us and bring us where we needed to go. He even helped us check-in at our hotel and when we left he brought us right to our check-in counter. Unfortunately, we didn't have very much time for sightseeing, but we had come all the way to Moscow, so we wanted to see a bit of the city. Arthur put together a short tour to take us around to some of the major sights (Church of Christ Our Saviour, Kremlin, Red Square, GUM, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, etc.). Being a photographer, he also knew the best vantage points to get some nice pictures. He was so knowledgable about Moscow and it was great to hear his commentary about the city. He also helped us very much in shopping for souvenirs and recommending reasonable places to eat. All in all, Arthur made our stay in Moscow so enjoyable and memorable and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who visits Moscow.
