Northern River-Boat Station

Northern River-Boat Station

Northern River-Boat Station was built at the same time as the Moscow Canal in 1937 on the bank of Khimkinskoye storage pond. An elegant weightless building with a tower and a spire, crowned with a gold and red five-pointed star. The star was set on the Spasskaya Tower of the Moscow Kremlin from 1935 to 1937. Local, excursion and pleasure routes are serviced by high-speed hydrofoil crafts and passenger motor ships.
