Near the New Maiden's Convent

Near the New Maiden's Convent

Olive and Donna, my clients from Ireland, gave me permission to place this nice photo (decisive moment of adoption in Russia), which I took near Novodevichy ("New Maidens Convent" in English).
The convent is rather like a miniature Kremlin and the magnificent 5-domed Smolensky Cathedral was built in 1525 in the same style as the Kremlin Cathedral of the Assumption, probably by the Italian architect Aleviz Fryazin.
I hope you enjoy this nice picture.
